This book tells an intriguing love story that unfolds against the peaceful landscape of Saskatchewan, Canada and the war-ravaged Liverpool docklands. The story is revealed through 16 years of letters found in an old brown suitcase.
The letters were written to Dolly by three men; Jack Wilson, Mac Adam and Peter Allen McDougall and they provide a vivid commentary on life during the Great Depression and World War II.
"...an impressive and important collection of letters."
